Like most users, I group applications on the taskbar to conserve space. I am
able to close all applications I use regularly by right-clicking with the sole exception being Excel because I use a workspace with multiple windows/spreadsheets. I find it convenient to whiz through and quickly close applications by right-clicking and selecting Close Group. However this option is greyed out for Excel in the Taskbar, since technically there is only one instance of Excel (not a group). But what about adding a Close Workspace option? Or what about beefing up the scope of Close Group so it also closes a workspace (i.e. if only a single Excel instance is open, but it is a workspace, enable the Close Group option, and have it apply to the windows in the workspace)? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
