I would like to link a text box in powerpoint to a cell in excel. Can I
select the text box in excel and use =$K$4 with the data in excel to display and change in powerpoint? |

Try it this way: with the Excel file open, select the cell with the data you
need (K4) and Copy it. Now go click in the text box on the powerpoint presentation and choose Edit -- Paste Special and select the paste as link option. Be sure to carry a copy of that Excel file with you as you travel and make your PPT presentation. "GENO" wrote: I would like to link a text box in powerpoint to a cell in excel. Yes, you can link a text box in PowerPoint to a cell in Excel. Here are the steps to do it:
Note: When you link a text box to an Excel cell, the text box will only display the value of the cell, not the formula. If you want to display the formula, you will need to use a different method.
