Default i want to update one excel file the other one update automaticaly

Hi
i have two different excel files with two different names. if i make
entry in one excel file , the other file should be update automatically.
(it should be with alphabets & numeric)

Assume we want to link what's updated within Sheet1 in Book1.xls
to Sheet2 in Book2.xls

With Book1.xls open,

In Book2.xls,
Put in Sheet2's A1:
=IF([Book1]Sheet1!A1="","",[Book1]Sheet1!A1)
Copy A1 across and fill down to cover the max expected extent of source data
within Sheet1 in Book1.xls
