I'm trying to shade cells in an Excel sheet. However, there are only a few
colors to choose from and they're all quite dark/unattractive. How do I get more customized colors? I see it is possible to "mix" by using patterns, but that's quite clumsy I think. Are there any other methods of adding new colors? |

David
ToolsOptionsColorsModify. Note: this is a workbook setting and will not be the default for all workbooks. You can copy the modified colors to another workbook if so desired. Same dialog "copy colors from". The modified workbook must be open. Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Fri, 28 Jan 2005 12:45:03 -0800, "David Grant" <David wrote: I'm trying to shade cells in an Excel sheet.
