Hi Guys,
I have created a coditional format in cell B1 saying that if B1 value does not equal A1 then B1 text format should be red. If I now wish to drag that format down the B coloum, how do I do that? Thanks in advance Robert |

See NOTE below first; use the Format Painter button on the Standard Toolbar;
Highlight B1, click the format painter button then select cells B2 and down, let go of the mouse button. NOTE: first make sure that the $ symbols are removed from the '=$A$1' which appears in the rightmost field of the conditional formatting dialogue box (pressing F2 once while editing this field will help too) so that it appears '=A1' or '=$A1'.
