A column in spreadsheet.... If I want to auto filter I go to Data/Filter
/Autofilter....This is fine except that having done that the arrow for auto filter does not appear until I go Data/filter/auto filter for a second time. This happens every time I do this, I have do go through the above twice before the arrow for the dropdown filter appears. Is this normal or is there a setting I can apply. thanks |

You are doing this for one Column at a time?
If so, you may be removing the AutoFilter from one Column the first time you go to the Menu Option. Then applying it to the new Column the second time you go to the Menu Option. If you have a range of Columns you'd like to AutoFilter, it may be easier if you just click on one cell in the range and then go to Data | Filter | Autofilter. This should give each Column a n AutoFilter Arrow. This may not work properly if there are blank Columns within the range (unless you select the entire range first). tj "Juco" wrote: A column in spreadsheet....
