I have a worksheet that has cells which are unprotected and then the
entire worksheet is protected. This is so users can input information into the individual cells. My format options are grayed out, and format _cells through the menu options is also grayed out. Therefore, I am pretty sure that they are protected correctly. At the worksheet level the Allow user to Change format is not checked. My problem is that if a user accidentally hits the "/" when entering a number the cell automatically changes a decimal number to a fraction format. This permanently changed the format on this cell to a fraction from this point on. Does anybody know how to prevent this from happening or how can a user change the format back to a decimal number without unprotecting the entire worksheet? |
