Sumif Fucntion
 

Excel has a DSUM function as well that can be used although the criteria is a
bit arcaic, you can not use SUMIF but you can use SUMPRODUCT

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A2:A300="x"),--(B2:B300="Y"))

is and example of AND
