![]() Is Visual Basic the same as Visual Studio 2008? No. Visual Basic (for Applications), or VBA, is included as part of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the other Office applications. Visual Studio is a separate product not part of Office that is used to develop programs using languages like VB.NET or C#. Visual Studio is quite expensive and not really geared for beginners. No it is not.VS2008 is a whole bigger concept, it is a development
environment for .Net tools, and is far richer and far harder to use that Visual Basic. You cannot find Visual Basic because MS do not sell it any longer. You might find a copy on eBay, but the demand tends to command high prices. -- __________________________________ HTH Bob "Mike Stewart" wrote in message ... You certainly do not. It is VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) that is in
Excel, so if that is what you want, if you have Excel you already have it. -- __________________________________ HTH Bob "Mike Stewart" wrote in message ...
