Default Resizing an activex checkbox control

We had placed an Activex Check Box control on our worksheet. However, the
actual check box is a tiny little thing. We need to enlarge the size of the
actual check box (not the text, not the object border).

We have other worksheets we have designed with larger checkboxes. However,
we cannot remember how we got the larger "Box". Changing the font size
doesn't seem to affect the box size, changing the object size doesn't change
the box, and there are no extents around the actual box to resize it.

Can anyone help with this issue, it simply shouldn't be this hard to find?

hi
the size of the activex check box is not an adjustable property.
i suspect that your other worksheets may have a different checkbox possibly
from the forms collection. it's check box is slightly larger.

Thanks for the confirmation, FSt1.

Nevertheless, what an unreasonable limitation! The thing is excruciatingly
tinsy if you happen to be working in a spreadsheet that needs the zoom
reduced to fit in the screen. Furthermore, depending on the purpose of the
worksheet, and the age of your clientele, you may need different sized
components. For example, I may want a VERY LARGE check box on my form, just
to set it apart as an obviously important part of the fill-in process for
the user using the form.

This control seriously needs a property for resizing the actual 'CheckBox'
and I suspect we will find the same for other controls. We would even
settle for a simple small, medium, large option. Limitations, like this
one, are what tends to drive us insane when working with many Microsoft
products.

Thanks,
Richard
