MSN Money Stock Quotes
 

After using MSN Money Stock Quotes for several years, we now receive an error
when we try to "Update Quotes".

Error message is "Failed to get requested data". Have uninstalled Add-in
and reinstalled and still get this error.

Any suggestions?

In clicking on Insert Quote, the add-in puts US:<stock symbol <price. How
do I eliminate the info preceding the price? I just want the price to be
inserted!

Is there a better solution than using Tools/Research MSN Money Stock Quotes?

I have had the same problem for last 2 days and have been unable to solve the
problem or find any posts with solutions. Were you able to come up with a fix?

Interesting--I have also had a problem the last 2 days but mine involves "IE
has encountered a problem and has to close". I am, with some hesitation,
about upgrading from IE6 to 7 to see if that solves the problem as Microsoft
chat does not have a solution and the e-mail solution to MSN Money will not
connect for me. I am not having a problem on any other site that uses IE, so
has to be unique to MSN stock quote.

I will monitor with you.

You may want to look in our group for some yahoo solutions. I have some
under the author donaldb36
goto

and look in the files section. There are several free files.
I have a couple of free files under author donalb36

Deleting all cookies and old files restored my MSN Stock Quotes function to
working order.

Deleting Cookies and Temporary Internet Files did the trick for me too!!!
