When I try to copy just the visible cells after I have subtotaled, it pastes
all the details even when I paste special (just values). SOmeone told me there is a view/copy visible cells icon but I can't find it. Thank you |

To find the icon, go into the Customize Toolbars menu. On the commands tab,
pick Edit. Way at the bottom is an icon that looks like four black boxes stacked together that says "Select Visible Cells." Add that to one of your toolbars. Then, once you've higlighted the subtotal rows, hit the new button, then copy. When you paste values, it should remove the details. Try F5SpecialVisible cells only and OK.
The button/icon is located in ToolsCustomizeCommandsEdit. Scroll down to the bottom to find it. Move it up to your Toolbar if you wish.
