I'm trying to copy a formula in my spreadsheet but when I copy it doesn't
copy the formula to another cell, it copies the result of that formula to the cell I'm trying to copy to. I've tried paste special and choosing formula only but it still copies the result. Please help. I have too many cells to copy to and can't re-enter my formulas in every cell. What am I doing wrong? |

Check and make sure calculation is set to automatic:
ToolsOptionsCalculation tabAutomaticOK It might also be that your formula uses absolute references so the result will always be the same. You didn't post the formula so I can't tell! -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "LL" wrote in message ...
