How can I count amount of Days I worked per year on Excel ?

Arrange you data in two columns. In column A enter Jan 1 in cell A1, Jan 2
in cell A2 and so on down to Dec 31. In column B, put a one next to those
cells in column A in which you worked. You can even include weekends or
holidays if you want.

In a separate cell enter the formula:

=COUNTIF(B1:B365,1)

this will be the days worked in that year.

So ,Dates are repeated many time , but how can I count how many day each
Employee was working
per week , ore per month ?
I can count how many of each ItemType ,each Employee got each day , week ,
ore month......
But I can not count how many days each Employee worked per week , ore per
month.

PS. I checked all of DATE functions none of it helps.
