I have 2 workbooks. The first workbook lists the quantity of parts produced
in each of 3 shifts per day (3 cells per day). The second workbook has one cell for each day that has the sum of the parts produced that day. I am looking for a shortcut that will make it easier to create the formulas in workbook 2 that links to the 3 cells in workbook1. When I link the cells, the formula that appears is =SUM('[Daily production data.xls]Apr. 06'!$K$27:$K$29) But, I can't find a way to copy and paste the formula for the other days in the month. Ie. when I copy the formula from May 1 (summing cells 1 - 3 from workbook1) and paste it in the cell for May 2, what copies is the exact formula instead of the sum for cells 4 -6. Please help! |
