When I click on the folder in the top left corner, the little box comes down
but it's too smal, I want to see the date modified and file name etc.

Can I make this bigger?

Hi Adam,

If you mean the open file icon and the subsequent window, you should be able
to expand the window by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner of it.
Make sure that you have the window view set to 'Details'.
