Default How do I allow visitors to do a keyword search of my database?

I would like to have visitors who visit my website put a keyword in a search
box and the search would look through the records in my database. It would
then return a listing of records where the keyword was found in the fields of
those records.

Would I be able to do this with Excel, or do I need something else (Access,
MySQL, etc.)?
