I have written a spreadsheet for a friend which will be used for
printing a poster to be used as a sign-up sheet for team matches. Worksheet 1 has the poster and is set up for printing. Two of the cells have drop down boxes that allow the user to choose the name of the opposition team and the venue. Worksheet 2 has the team lists etc. As he is a computer newbie I've tried to keep it as simple as possible. All he needs to do is select the opposing team and venue via the drop-downs plus enter the date. He can then print off the result and do the same thing again for the next match. Is it possible to transfer the work-book to his computer and keep all the formatting settings (col. width, margins etc.) so that I don't need to go over there and set it up myself? tia Rob |

I don't really understand your question. Can't you just copy the
whole workbook and email/sneaker-net it over to the other PC? -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Bampah" wrote in message oups.com... Maybe....
The way it prints is gonna depend on his printer. So if you use different printers (or different printer drivers), all your work may not be enough. I'd just give him the workbook (email???) and let him try it. If it's acceptable (and it might be perfect), then uncross your fingers and be happy. But I would bet that you should be able to talk (via the phone) through any changes (if they're necessary).
