Default Excel Auto format for Monday Wednesdays

Why can't Excel Auto format for Tuesdays and Thursdays or Monday and
Wednesdays. 2 cells make up a week. The 2 cells refer to Tue and Thur. I
want to highlight the 2 cells with the proper date...then drag---auto
format---the remanding cell. For Example A1 and B1 are Tu and Th
respectivly, with 2/14/06 and 2/16/06 in cells A2 and B2. The next two
cells...C1 and D1 are again Tu and Th...and I want C2 and D2 to be 2/21/06
and 2/23/06...and continue that formating for the next 16 weeks. Excel can
not figure out I'm only looking at Tu and Th only.

Try this:

Insert your 2 dates in A1 and B1, in C1 type =A1+7, in D1 type =B1+7, select
C1:D1 and drag across as far as needed.
