Default Can you enter @ symbol without becomig email address in a cell?

I am trying to enter information in a cell, i.e. 4@50. It keeps turning the
information into an email address. How can I stop this?

Hi

One way is to hit Ctrl+Z immediately after it has changed it into an email
address. This will undo the 'helpful' change for you!

I think you need to change an autocorrect setting.

Try this:

ToolsOptionsSpelling tab
Click the [AutoCorrect Options...] button
Select the "AutoFormat as you type" tab
Uncheck: Internet and network paths with hyperlinks
Click the [OK] buttons

Does that help?

Hi again!

You could just format the column as Text before you start.

Or enter an apostrophe prefix to make the entry a label.

Another method is to use a single quote (apostrophe) in front:
'4@50
