Default import excel worksheet info to contact sub-folder

How can I import name and email address from an Excel worksheet to a
sub-folder in my contact list? I was able to get the info into my contact
list, but not into the sub-folder. Thanks for your help

Knowing your version would be incredibly helpful. Have you selected the
subfolder and chosen File--Import? Also, this isn't really an Excel
question, but an Outlook question.
