Is there a way to keep the personal.xls file from automatically opening every
time you start Excel? |

![]() You need to move the 'personal.xls' file out of the Excel Startup folder. It is usually located: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART Move it to any desired folder to open at your convenience. Once it is opened do windowshide and select personal.xls
