Hi
If i have information in cell a1 & b1 is there any way to merge the two
cells and keep all info, in other words just a normal cell merge but instead
of just retaining the info must upper left it retains all info?

any help greatly appreciated.

Alan, you could use a formula in another cell and put the two cells
together, then paste special valves, something like this

=A1&B1
or
=A1&" "&B1

You may want to try Paul's suggestion once more.

Or post what you tried and what happened when you tried it.
