Hi,
Does anyone know why this is happening? If I open a saved excel spreadsheet in excel 2003, if that spreadsheet had been saved with excel 2002 or xp, it overrides the saved print settings (ie. print on both sides) and changes it to not print on both sides. Further explanation. I save an excel spreadsheet on excel 2000 or 2002 or xp. It retains the "print on both sides" value in print properties, regardless of how the default printer looks in control panel. But if I bring this spreadsheet up in excel 2003, the print on both sides goes away. Is this a bug or a feature and is there a workaround? We jsut moved from office xp and office 2000 to office 2003 and I don't like the idea of having to go in and resave 600 spreadsheets. I'd appreciate it if anyone knows to email me the answer at (remove the "spam". THANKS A BUNCH IN ADVANCE! ga George Applegate |
