Default REQ: Columns to rows or Rows to Columns

Look, this is my first time to post in this group, and I can tell I'm
already waaay out of my depth compared to most of you, but there used
to be a product (add-in or whatever) that would allow you to easily go
from "Text to Colums"(not difficult) but also from "Columns to Rows"
and many other neat and useful things. Anybody either know a
product/utility that will do something like that? I use ABBYY
Finereader to scan things into Excel in order to create data bases;
that little product was very handy. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
nonapp

That doesn't sound familiar, but I'm going to give it a try. Thank you
so very much for your help.
Sincerely,

While it was very good and I'll use it often, this other program that
I used years ago would easily take a column and make a row out of it
for headings and vice-versa. Are there any similar programs to this
"ASAP Utilities" that you may have heard of? By the way, I really
appreciate ASAP...it will be quite useful.

Well... You don't NEED an addin for that, you know. Select your column and
copy. Go to blank cell/worksheet and hit Edit--Paste special--Transpose.
