how do i turn the help index on again? the current help screens are not
helpful. I need to look commands up in an index. I don't want to ask questions. I simply want to find a command syntax or expand on an idea. Please tell me you haven't removed this functionality so that your products can look more brain dead!!!!!!! HELP INDEX IS NEEDED! |

The HelpIndex is gone forever. Went out with Excel 2002 AFAIK. Excel 98 had it. Never used 2000 so can't comment on that version. The answer wizard is what you work with now. BTW this is a peer to peer news group - volunteers only - and you may or may not have your posting read by a real MS Employee. To go on record with MS complete the form here......... http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp?
