I am using Excel 2007 and have just moved to it from QuattroPro.
There is probably a simple way to do this but I can't find it. I have a calculation in one cell that comes up with a number (say 7.2) that is a number of minutes that something takes. I want to take that number and enter it in another cell in the form 00:07 Can I do that? Thanks. CGM |

Suppose you have 7.2 in A1, then put this formula in B1:
=A1/60/24 and format the cell as hh:mm Hope this helps. Pete On Sep 13, 12:39*am, CGM wrote: I am using Excel 2007 and have just moved to it from QuattroPro.
