Please help me to rectify the problem. I have a file created in Excel 2003
and when I open the file in Excel 2007 it prompt for an error message " One or more invalid names were detected in this workbook. Those invalid names have been changed to #REF " when the file open the chart did not display properly. The file was open in compatibility mode. |

Hi,
because there are only 256 columns and 65,356 rows in Excel 2003 the following range names are legal IW3 A100000 ZZ200000 None of these are legal in 2007 because there are 16,384 columns and 1,048576 rows. If Excel can it will convert them to things like IW3_ You should find and modify all range names and then see if things clear up. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
