The function is called negation.
The Excel symbol is - The formula is =-A1, and copy down and across as necessary. An alternative is to put -1 in a spare cell, copy, then select your range of cells, and Edit/ Paste Special/ Multiply (or Divide). -- David Biddulph "VH" wrote in message ...
