How can I get a number eg. 0123456 to keep the zero showing in the cell,
without using the apostrophe? I need to be able to sort the numbers eventually. Thanks. |

If you format the cell, in the number tab, select "Text". This then allows
you to enter a number starting with a "0". It also lets you write a number without a "0". It basically lets you rnter into a cell literally what you type.
