Hello,
I need to do data analysis from PDF documents. I do not have any problem in copying entire file and paste it to Excel. However I am unable to split them into columns. Is there anyway for me to import or convert PDF data into Excel format ? Thanks Low -- A36B58K641 |

Is all the data pasted into one column in Excel? If so, you can use
Data | Text-to-columns to split it up, maybe using <space as a delimiter. Hope this helps. Pete On Nov 10, 4:01*pm, Mr. Low wrote: Hello, I need to do data analysis from PDF documents. Hello Pete,
Yes, the text is on one column, but when I use Data Text to Column tool, I could not split it into columns. All the text are very close together, there is no spacing in between them, thus I am not able to use "Space" to split them. Any more idea ? You can split by any other character which is used as a delimiter, or split
into fixed width fields. If neither of those, how are you deciding which characters are intended to be in which field? -- David Biddulph "Mr. Low" wrote in message ...
