from a selcted group of cells, and how to change the color and line style of
borders, but I can't remove the top and right hand border surrounding the
page, any ideas or suggestions ?

Hi Rae

Use the eraser on your Borders toolbar.

Hi again, Rae-

My previous answer assumes that you already tried the "select all" button in
the top left corner of your worksheet (the blank one above the row header
"1", and to the left of the column header "A"), and then applied a "no
borders" format, which should have taken everything off.

Hi Ross, thanks for the suggestions, yes I tried the eraser tool and the
select all and then format-cells-borders-nor border. Niether trick takes
care of the border surrounding the page. I guess I can learn to live with
it. Thanks for the ideas though !!
