I've got Office 2007 Professional. It is installed only on my Main PC and on
my laptop. It has been activated on both machines. So .... why am I seeing the "Microsoft Excel non-commercial use" message at the top of my screen?? How the hell do I get rid of it??? |

Did you UNinstall the Home and Student trial first?

I wasn't aware that Home and Student was installed on the laptop when I got
it, but I will certainly try that. I'll let you know if that solves the problem or not. Thanks. Great ... your solution worked. Actually, all I had to do was uninstall Home
and Student from the machine. It was installed on there along with the Professional version that I installed. I never even looked to see what was installed on the laptop when I bought it, I just installed the software that I already owned. I had no idea the two versions of Office could coexist on the same computer. Thanks again!! Glad to hear it, you are welcome. Yes you can have several versions on
one computer but the side effects can get interesting. rickym wrote: Great ... your solution worked. Actually, all I had to do was uninstall Home and Student from the machine.
