is it possible to include and or exclude a number/cell from the result of a
formula based on format of cell? ie if the shading is anything other then no fill i want to not add it into toal but is it is no fill have it included in formula. |

There are VBA choices to choose from, if you search I'm sure you will find
it. Chip Pearson has some notes (and a download) he
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/colors.aspx which explains all about counting and summing by colour. Hope this helps. If you are accessing these groups from the Microsoft website, you could
