Edit Macros is where you can change the macro as you see it. So the blinking
cursor would be necessary to know where you are in the macro. If you do not type anything, then you can just ignore it. May I ask, what are you trying to do if you don't edit/write macros, but only record, but are in the edit macro area? -- ** John C ** "Ken" wrote: Excel2003 ... John ...
It's called "cut & paste" & sometimes I am able to edit the "recorded" instruction. As far as the "blinking" cursor ... that was me ... I inadvertently "fat-fingered" the "insert" key ... So now I am all set. Thanks ... Kha "John C" wrote: Edit Macros is where you can change the macro as you see it. So the blinking cursor would be necessary to know where you are in the macro. Oh the fat/wide cursor vs the skinny/narrow cursor! Ok, glad you have
solved it! Ken wrote: Bob ... "Blinking" cursor while in Visual Basic ... the culprit was me ... I inadvertently "fat-fingered" the "insert" key ... which changed it from "insert" to "overtype" ...
