Default Sort Not Including Top Row

Good day,

I have a spreadsheet w/ header data to Row 8. Row 9 is the col headings.
Data starts in Row10 and ranges from cols B to F.

For some reason, when I click on any data cell in Row10, or any cell below
Row10 in any col, and press the sort ascending tool button, all the data
sorts based on that col selection except for the top row. That data in Row10
remains constant regardless which col or row I click on to sort, but the rest
of the data below changes with each sort.

Any idea why this is occuring?

Thanks,

Excel is taking row10 as your header row and leaving it unchanged. Do all
cells contain header in the range B9-F9?

Just to test copy row 10 and paste over row 9 and see whether row 10 gets
included in the sort.

Thanks, Yes Cell B9 was missing data. I didn't see that because I copied the
header from a different file and was covered by a graphic. That's good to
know.

Thanks for the suggestion. Issue resolved.
