Default Older Versions of Excel

I have Excel 2007 but need access to making changes to previous Excel
versions for my Master's class for Strategic Management. Is there a way to
get previous Excel versions free so I can view, edit, and save changes to
previous Excel versions? Thank you.

You can do that using Excel 2007 also. If needed choose Save As and pick
Excel 97-2003 format.

No you can not get older version without buying it... You may get a trial
version from MS site.
