I opened an excel file from an email, made changes and clicked save.
I did not click Save As and save to a new file. (even though I know better) Is there anyway to find the file with the changes I made?? I have tried to search, but have had no luck. |

it would be in temporary folders. include system and hidden folders in the
search and you will find it. another way is to try to open another file (same file may overwrite what is already there) from mail and then click save as... it should open the directory in which your other file should be... let me know how it goes... Thank you, I thought I had looked in hidden files, but I guess not.
And the other method worked too. The bad news is, that I thought I would get an email when a reply was posted and I even had the page up all day, but never saw the reply (until I recently refreshed the page)...Anyway, I had already re-done all my work after I saved the file on my desktop. Well if I do it again I will know what to do. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. "You live and you learn"....I am in the slow learners catagory!!
