Somehow, my Sum botton, in the toolbar, is doing a subtotal function instead
of a simple Sum. how can I change this back to the original function? |

If your data is filtered, then excel is smart enough to use =subtotal().
Actually, xl2003 looks to be even smarter--I had to have filters applied and I had to have filtered my data.
