Looking for an explanation...I have an Excel Worksheet which queries a
worksheet from another Excel Workbook for it's contents. (Contents: invoice records). The link works great save for one column (invoice number) in particular, which does not import comptetely. Some rows in the column return blanks, others return truncated information. The column contains invoice numbers which can take various formats (alpha, numeric, date, alpha-numeric combo) which I suspect is the source of the problem, but I have no way of explaining. Is there a way to fix the source file or query so all data comes through? I have tried reformatting the source column's cells to a common format (i.e. general, text) to no avail. |
