Hi,
Ok, I have 2 users both running Excel 200 SP3 on XP Pro. User A created a spread sheet and then emails it to user B. User B edits the spreadsheet. She doesn't change the data itself, just inserts page breaks and a header on each page. User B mails the sheet back to user A. Now when User A opens this document she gets a glimpse of the edited document with the page breaks etc... after 1-2 seconds the excel sheet reverts back to the original created by user A in the first place. When we open the page break preview there are no page breaks. On user Bs PC the document displays fine. When User A mailed the doc to me the same thing happens on my machine. So I took an edited copy from User B and placed it in a network share. Now, when I copy the file to my desktop and open it , it's fine. When user A does the same the page breaks disappear. ANyone seen this before, I'm sure its got to be a minor setting on User As Excel. Or is it some wierd cache thing going on? Please help, Thanks in advance..... |

Thanks for the reply, I checked the printer settigns and they all loked ok.
I then found a setting in: Views\Custom Views. It had a list aof all the people who had worked on the document. I set it to the most recent user and it all lokks ok now. Never seen this feature before. Thanks anyhow.
