Default Error message opening Excel

When I open Excel I get this message:
Microsoft Visual Basic
Automatic Error
Unspecified Error

I close the message box and Excel opens okay but runs slow, especially
cutting and pasting. The massage appears with any size Excel file. It also
appears when I shut down Excel. No other program, Office or otherwise, gives
this message.

I am running Excel 2002 SP3 under Windows XP SP2.

Thanks
