I have inherited a spreadsheet that uses conditional formatting to show by
color when a time is a little over and a lot over. Some how they converted the time to a decimal point, but it does'nt make sense. Unfortunately, it does'nt seem to transfer from different pages in the workbook from 7:00 to 8:00. Cell is Formatted as Custom h:mm Conditional Formatting for 7:00 am Cell Value is between 0.313194444444444 and 0.319444444444444 Cell Value is greater than 0.319444444444444 Conditional Formatting for 8:00 am Cell Value is between 0.417361111111111 and 0.423611111111111 Cell Value is greater than 0.423611111111111 Any help on how to make hours & minutes work to show if someone is late would be greatly appreciated. |

Let's say you want to CF col A for any arrival times greater than 7:10 am Select col A (A1 active), apply CF for Condition 1 using "Formula Is": =AND(ISNUMBER(A1),A1--"7:10 am") Format to taste -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- |
