Default how to turn on and off autofill feature in 2000

I manually create spreadsheets with very different information. What I am
looking for is how to turn on the autofill feature so that i dont have to
retype duplicate entries over and over and without using copy/paste.

Thanks

These may be appropriate:

To turn on autofill: Tools | Options | Edit | Allow cell drag and drop

To add to a list used by autofill: Tools | Options | Custom Lists | Add

To turn on autocorrect: Tools | AutoCorrect | Replace text as you type

To add entries to autocorrect: Tools | AutoCorrect | Replace ... With ...

Spudd,

Michael's answer enables copying an entry down with the Fill Handle. Perhaps
that's what you meant by autofill. Also, you can use Ctrl - ' (Ctrl plus
apostrophe) to repeat the cell above.

Spudd,

That post got away before I was done. Also, if you mean Autocomplete, look
at Tools - Options - Edit tab, Enable autocomplete for cell values.
