Hi -- In using one of the updated loan amortization templates, I noticed that
the amount of the final payment does not appear to be correct. The amount
should be the "beginning [principal] balance" immediately before the final
payment + the interest that will accrue on that amount for the final month.
Instead, the template makes the total final payment an amount equal to the
"beginning balance" and then deducts the interest component from that amount.
Is there a bust in the formula?
