There are only a few options when grouping on a number field (max, min, and
interval). I'd like to group my numbers logarithmically (1-10, 11-100, 101-1000, etc.). I created a workaround by creating a new field which is the log of the field I wanted, and including the new field in the pivot table. But it ought to be as simple a putting checkmark in the Grouping dialog box, like for charts. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
