Hi!
Do you want to lock all formulas or just some of them? When locked, do want the formula to be hidden so that it will not show in the formula bar? To lock and hide all formulas: Select the entire sheet by clicking on the square to the left of the column headings and above the row headings. Goto FormatCellsProtection tab. Uncheck Locked. OK out. Hit key F5. Click the Special button. Select Formulas. OK out. All cells on the sheet that contain formulas will now be selected. Goto FormatCellsProtection tab. Select both Locked and Hidden. OK out. Now, goto ToolsProtectionProtect Sheet. Depending on which version of Excel you are using, you will have various options for setting the protection. Biff |
