I suddenly find myself with an important file that is corrupted.
1) Is there a way to recover it? 2) Is there a way to back up the date of the computer to a time before the file was corrupted? -- BillFrancis |

You may get it open with the free program OpenOffice which reportedly does
wondrous things with corrupt Excel files. http://www.openoffice.org, a 60-65 meg download or a CD Or just open your backup copy of the file..............you do have a backup of an "important" file, right? You cannot back up the date on your computer to before the file became corrupt.
