how should i format Text cells into Number cells?

1. select the cells
2. pull down:
Format Cells... Number General


This, however, will not convert any data already in the cells. To do that,
put 1 in an unused cell and copy it. Then paste/special/multiply into the
cells you wish to convert.

Hi,

1. Select the cell or range of cells - press the CTRL key and click cells
you wan to format.
2. Roght click and click Format cells.
3. In the Format Cells dialog box, click the Number Tab.
4. In the Category list, click to select any category.
5. Click OK.
