Default How do I stop the TAB from moving over multiple columns

When I TAB from A! it goes to P1
I can't get it to just TAB to the next column B1
I am using EXCEL 2003

Maybe unchecking the lotus 123 transition settings would help:

Tools|options|Transition tab
Uncheck all those settings.
